Something about the NYT

The New York Times (also known as NYT) is an American newspaper founded in 1851. It has won many prizes (early 104 Pulitzer), and it’s the most popular newspaper website in America, receiving monthly 30 million visitors. Also, it’s one of the largest metropolitan newspapers in the world.

The New York Times talks about many things. It’s organized in three big sections (including a magazine). The first is the news section, which includes national, international, business, technology, science, health, sports and weather news. The second is the opinion section, and the third is the features section, which includes arts, movies, theatre, travel, home, and miscellaneous news. It’s important to note that the NYT doesn’t have its own staff editorial cartoonist. (I don’t know if there are puzzles in the newspaper…)

I like this newspaper for many reasons. One of them is the huge reputation that it has. It’s one of the most known newspapers around the world. Daily, early one million people read news in the NYT. It’s also published on internet, and you can access it even from your mobile phone! Isn’t that amazing? I guess it is.
