This time I'm gonna talk about gadgets. No more, no less.
We all have our favorite gadget. In my case, it’s my cell phone. When I was a child mobile phones were just made to call. I remember the first cell phone that my father had. It looked like a brick. It was really big, heavy and the quality of the sound wasn’t the best. Also, the duration of the battery didn't last than 6 hours.
As time passed, appeared the SMS, the games, the accessories (like calculators, agenda, etc.), the color screen, the MMS, the mobile internet, the cameras, the Bluetooth, the music players, the GPS, the touch screens, the compass, the high definition cameras, the gyroscopes, the access to Wi-Fi, the laundry system (?) and many others.
Today, having a mobile phone is indispensable to survive in our world. I don’t know how my mother did it when she was young to locate her friends, or meet someone in somewhere.
I like my phone (that’s why I chosen it), but in my life I had almost 10 different phones. I had the first when I was 10 years old. It was a Nokia 3390. Then, the things changed, the technologies did it too, and now, I have a Nokia C3.
The principal use of my phone is, not obviously as I thought, to call people. Also I use it to listen to music, as a camera, and to access the web. Some people use their phone for anything except to call. I think that’s funny. I have a friend who has an iPhone, but I never see him calling somebody or receiving a call.
I don’t know what I would do without a phone. I guess… I don’t know.
What do you do with your phones?
